Secret Nuclear Bunker

Originally designed for up to 600 military and civilian personnel, possibly even the Prime Minister of the day, the Secret Nuclear Bunker is testament to a time when the planning for the unthinkable was translated into a hidden bunker whose purpose was to provide a command and administration centre in the awful aftermath of a nuclear war. These days the ‘secret’ is out and it has become a popular destination for the public providing guided tours and a venue for events and even overnight stays in the extensive sleeping quarters far below ground.

Partners by Design were asked to redesign the site but to keep a similar architecture as created by the owner with the ability for easy content management.
